Unlike a traditional wedding reception, this event marked a one-year anniversary for a couple who eloped the previous year. Now, the bride and groom wanted to share their excitement with loved ones. Their closest friends and family celebrated their one-year anniversary in style.
Guests arrived ready for an evening of dining, drinks, and one-of-a-kind experiences – including a live engraving station for custom wedding favors.
A Dream Venue for a Luxury Anniversary Reception
While it was technically an anniversary party, it had all the elegance and sentiment of a wedding reception (just without the ceremony).
The private golf course in Savannah was a stunning venue known for its coastal beauty and high-end amenities. With six golf courses and eight restaurants, it’s *on par* for luxury events in Savannah. The Deer Creek Clubhouse provided the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space, with elegant seating, cocktail tables, and a breathtaking patio overlooking the golf course.
One unexpected treat was the weather: February in Savannah can be unpredictable, but on this particular evening, it was warm and pleasant. Guests enjoyed mingling outside by the fire pit, surrounded by lanterns and cozy seating.

The entire event was a beautiful, well-orchestrated evening. The couple chose a timeless playlist featuring classic romantic hits from The Temptations, Sam Cooke, and Etta James. There’s something magical about engraving a glass while smooth jazz plays in the background.
